① Bottle blank preparation. The glass material used for thermos belongs to commonly used sodium calcium silicate glass. Take the high-temperature glass liquid without impurities and blow it into glass inner bottle blank and outer bottle blank with wall thickness of 1 ~ 2mm in the metal mold.

② Bladder blank. The inner bottle is placed in the outer bottle, the bottle mouth is sealed into one, and a conduit for silver plating and air extraction is set at the bottom of the outer bottle. This glass structure is called bottle bladder blank. There are three kinds of glass bottle blank: bottom pulling sealing method, shoulder shrinking sealing method and waist joint sealing method. The bottom pulling sealing method is to cut the mouth of the inner bottle blank and the bottom of the outer bottle blank, sleeve the inner bottle from the bottom of the outer bottle and fix it with asbestos plug insert pad, then round and close the outer bottle bottom, connect the small tail conduit, and melt seal the mouth of the two bottles. ③ Silver plated. ④ Vacuum. Connect the tailpipe of the silver coated double-layer bottle blank with the vacuum system and heat it to 300 ~ 400 ℃, so as to promote the glass to release various adsorbed gases and residual moisture. At the same time, the vacuum pump is used for air extraction. When the vacuum degree in the interlayer space of the bottle liner reaches 10-3 ~ 10-4mmhg, the tail pipe is melted.
